Great 7 Nights!
We couldn't fault Turtle Beach Resort. Lovely security man helped us check in as it was after hours. All the staff were very friendly and happy to help in any way. We stayed in room 24 a 1 bedroom apartment. Was very clean and had been done up recently. It had a lovely private back deck. The security at the resort is great as you need a swipe card to get into rooms and in and out of the main gate, so it is a very safe and secure place. We had a woodfire pizza from the place on site which was reasonably priced and very nice. There is a bus stop right out the front of the resort where buses to the theme parks stop and many other buses stop that go everywhere else. Around the resort there are cheap restaurants, bakery, 24/7 shop and many other handy places, Their is a convenience store on site that is very reasonably priced. We had a great time using all the pools and spas and the tennis court. All pools and BBQ areas were well maintained. This resort was a great place to stay and it and its surroundings are just fantastic. Would recommend this place for people to stay.

Fantastic family holiday from a fussy traveller!
Excellent resort for children, well appointed apartments which offer great value. Kids club is fabulous and our children had a great time. Food was good and well priced and our requests were well accommodated. No rowdy guests, just a lovely family atmosphere. We are regular travelers and this is now one of our favourites! Recommend highly.

Great family holiday place
We stayed in this resort for 9 nights. Perfect setting with the pool right at the bottom of our room stairs. My children aged 11 and 12 loved being able to go down the stairs to the pool each morning.
The onsite Woodfire Pizza Restaurant was fantastic and we ate there 4 nights, Pizza's were great tasting and good value for money.
Rainforest cafe provided good breakfast and coffee. We also ate there one night and could not fault the food or service.
Overall it was a fantastic resort for a family to relax and enjoy all the facilities and we would return to Turtle Beach again.

Turtle Beach Resort Family Holiday
We were lucky to be upgraded to a executive apartment with a pool at the bottom of our stairwell.
The kids loved the pools and wildfire pizza restaurant, whilst the the Forrest cafe was great value for breakfast and dinner with quick service and Excellent food.
The playgrounds and cinema within the complex was great for entertaining the kids.
The beach was a good walk away but worth the effort when you get there.
We would definitely return.

Great place for a family holiday
We stayed for a week in this great resort, and we had a fun time. Took full advantage of the pools, tennis courts, mini golf, cinema and had a meal at the pizza parlour. Perfect for children-our boys were 6 and 9 but older or younger children would also enjoy it. The rooms are well set up with plenty of space, lovely and clean and all the crockery, pots and pans etc you would need. We were right by the pizza parlour and pool which was convenient but probably not the quietest room, however everything quietens down around 9pm. Lots of families up and about early (especially Kiwis still adjusting to the time zone). Would definitely recommend. Easy enough to get to theme parks and other locations but not right in the glitzy part of the Gold Coast, a more relaxed location.

Awesome place, superb for families
We just got back from our week at Turtle beach and were really impressed. Had read reviews about having to be on ground floor but we were on third and had no issues despite having a 2 and 5 year old. The facilities were excellent in our apartment (149) and even though we were on road side there was no noise as it was double glazed. Pools were lovely and the barbeque facilities were brilliant. Rainforest Cafe is great and kids eat free on Tuesday and Thursday between 5 and 7.
Overall we couldn't fault the place and have recommended it to people already and will certainly be back.

Great for families
We really enjoyed our stay at Turtle Beach. It was our first family trip to the Gold Coast and we weren't sure what to expect but we were very pleased with the accommodation. The staff were very helpful and friendly and it is situated in a very convenient location. The rooms were well appointed and very clean.
We chose a 2 bedroom apartment, for two adults and 3 children and there was plenty of room. We enjoyed the pools, tennis court and putt putt golf and it kept the children occupied in between adventures. We would stay here again and I would highly recommend it to others.

We never wanted to leave
My family and I arrived in late, after hours and were a bit worried about being able to access our room. We shouldn't have worried. We were met by the security man Ivan, who was wonderful. What an asset to the resort! He was helpful, friendly, had a good banter with the kids and showed us every thing we needed to see. He really put us at ease. The resort itself was everything we wanted and more. The set out is fantastic and we met some absolutely wonderful people while staying here and the kids loved having so many new friends to play with. Our room was on the bottom floor and had direct access to the pizzeria (well worth the money; try the alcoholic slushies and garlic bread pizzas- very yummy), swimming pool and movie theater. We had per-ordered our tickets to the parks and transfers and just had to ask at the desk and the girls would just order in the shuttles for us. No worries. There are so many eateries around that although we intended to make our own food we only did once in our week long stay. Our apartment was very spacious- a family bathroom with bath and the main bedroom had and an ensuite; a big lounge area with comfortable couches and chairs (yeah not the most modern but not bad either), a good sized family table and well stocked kitchen with everything you'd ever need. We were most happy with the laundry area in the main bathroom with the wash tub, washing machine and dryer all behind louver doors. Just what a family needs. Heaps of space to hang in the wardrobe and airing racks to dry your gear outside. We ate on our private balcony every night and it was wonderful. Turtle beach is so well located. Out of the hustle of surfers but so, so close to everything you would ever want. Directly on the main highway, catch the local bus service which is fantastic and easy to use and understand to where you want to go. Walk a small distance up the road to safely cross the highway at the light and you've got the beach and a little shopping centre. We can't wait to go back and would highly recommend Turtle beach. Have a blast with your family like we did!!!
